Winberg Hockey Academy (WHA) launched in 2019. The mission of Winberg Hockey Academy is to provide a fun and competitive environment for girls and women ice hockey players to develop on and off the ice. For the past 5 summers, up to 50 girls gather in Malmö, Sweden for WHA Girls Summer Camp followed by a Veteran Camp for women ice hockey players in Stockholm. Individual skills training and team training are also offered throughout the year.
Meet the Team

Pernilla Winberg, born in Malmö, Sweden, played college hockey at five-time NCAA Division I national champions, Minnesota Duluth. Winberg played for the Swedish National Team for 17 years, playing in 12 World Championships and 4 Olympics including a silver medal performance in 2006. She won 3 Swedish National Championships throughout her career in the SDHL.

Apollonia Mälerberg, born in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a sports journalist for TV4 covering SDHL and SHL. She currently plays Vets Hockey for Huddinge.

Rachel Bloznalis, born in Massachusetts, USA, played college soccer at Boston University where she was Patriot League Defender of the Year, Scholar All-American and Boston University Women Athlete of the Year. Bloznalis went on to play professionally for Umeå IK and Djurgårdens IF in Sweden. She also played for youth national teams up to the USA U23 National Team. She is now an Assistant Coach with the Boston University Women’s Soccer Team.
